Mr. Zhang Yimouworld-famous director, the chief director and artistic director of the performance projects of Impression Wonders

Zhang Yimou was the chief director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 29th Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, was the chief director of the Public Evening Gala on the National Day celebration for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 2009, and is an iconic figure in the "five-generation film directors" of China. The films he has directed include Red Sorghum, Raise the Red Lantern, Hero, The House of Flying Daggers, Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles, The Curse of the Golden Flower, Coming Home, The Great Wall, and others.

● In 2010, Mr. Zhang received an honorary doctorate in art from Yale University in USA.

● In 2009, Mr. Zhang was the chief director of the Public Evening Gala on the National Day in celebration for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

● In 2009, Mr. Zhang won the best special program award at the American TV Emmy Awards (for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics), and became one of the chief directors of the "Impression Series" large-scale live-action performances.

Ms. Wang Chaogefamous director and directing consultant for the performance projects of Impression Wonders

Ms. Wang is among China's most innovative directors, a leader in the current cultural industry, and the founder of live-action performances.

She was the chief director and chief screenwriter for the "Impression" and "Encore" series of performances.

The works she has directed include Impression Sanjie Liu, Impression Lijiang, Impression West Lake, Impression Hainan Island, Impression Dahongpao, Impression Putuo, Impression Wulong, Encore Pingyao, Impression Chinese Music, Encore Mount Wutai, Encore Chinese Music, the large-scale modern dance drama Willful Comeback, one of the operas performed at the Metropolitan Opera House in USA - The First Emperor (starring Placido Domingo, with music composed by Tan Dun), and Impression West Lake Rain (with lyrics written by Wang Chaoge, music composed by Kitaro), which was nominated for a Grammy Award. She was one of the core creative members of the 29th Olympic Games, was the chief director/planner for the Private Enterprise Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, and the chief designer of the Wind Wall at the Chinese Pavilion during the 12th Venice Biennale of Architecture. She was also in charge of the themed activities entitled “Impression: Top of the World”.

Ms. Wang was the screenwriter for the works including Impression Sanjie Liu, Impression Lijiang, Impression Hainan Island, Impression West Lake, Impression Dahongpao, Impression Putuo, Impression Wulong, Encore Pingyao, Impression Chinese Music, Encore Mount Wutai, Encore Chinese Music, and Encore Dunhuang

Mr. Fan has the highest level of ability in China as both a director and a stage art designer.

Mr. Fan has participated in, designed, and directed many stage plays, demonstrating his outstanding talent in art. Mr. Fan, in cooperation with Zhang Yimou and Wang Chaoge, creatively innovated “Landscape live-action performance”, a new form of performance which was the first of its kind in China.

● In 2011, Mr. Fan was awarded the title “Goodwill Ambassador of the Happy Angel Fund” by the Chinese Red Cross Foundation;

● In 2010, Mr. Fan created the amazing “Vigour Matrix Climax Show”, and served as the chief director for the Private Enterprise Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo.

● In 2010, Mr. Fan acted as the interior art designer for the China Pavilion at the 12th Venice Biennale of Architecture, with his design work entitled Wind Wall.

● In 2010, Mr. Fan staged the themed event "Impression: Top of the World” in collaboration with BMW, in Lhasa nearly 4000 m above sea level.

● In 2009, Mr. Fan was one of the members of the core creative team for the Public Evening Gala on the National Day celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

● In 2008, Mr. Fan was one of the core creative team members for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 29th Olympic Games.

● In 2006, together with Zhang Yimou and Wang Chaoge, Fan successfully directed the original opera The First Emperor (starring Placido Domingo, with music composed by Tan Dun), and became the first Chinese director to direct an opera for the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, USA, during the 150 years since its establishment.

● In 2003, Mr. Fan, together with Zhang Yimou and Wang Chaoge, co-directed the gala event  Olympic China, Touching Beijing, in celebration of the unveiling of the official emblem for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games
