Impression Wonders Arts Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Impression Wonders”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanxiang Impression Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Sanxiang Impression”, stock code 000863). It was previously known as the Beijing Impression Innovation and Art Development Co., Ltd., and was launched by three famous Chinese directors, Zhang Yimou, Wang Chaoge, and Fan Yue. In May 2016, Sanxiang Impression successfully acquired 100% equity in Impression Wonders. At present, Zhang Yimou, IDG Capital, Yunfeng Capital, and other influential institutions at home and abroad either directly or indirectly hold shares in Sanxiang Impression.
Impression Wonders is committed to creating, producing, investing in, and managing performances. Impression Wonders has already successfully created the "Impression" brand of landscape live-action performances, including Impression Sanjie Liu, Impression Lijiang, Impression West Lake, Impression Dahongpao, Impression Putuo, Impression Wulong, as well as its "Encore" brand of scene experience-type plays, including Encore Pingyao, Encore Mount Wutai and Encore Dunhuang. Impression Wonders also participated in the creation of The First Emperor, an opera at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic Games, the Shanghai World Expo, the Venice Biennale of Architecture, and other large events. At the G20 Summit held in Hangzhou, China in 2016, Impression Wonders produced Enduring Memories of Hangzhou, a large-scale, live-action, performance symphony concert, with Zhang Yimou as the chief director, and it received high praise from General Secretary Xi Jinping.
